Payday Loans and Fast Cash Guide

Sell Cheap College Books for Fast Cash

When you are in college, cheap college books are a must. Depending on your major you could spend upwards of 300 dollars for one semester worth of books. That is, if you make the huge mistake of buying your books directly from you college textbook store. Textbook stores make their money off of selling you a book at full price and then buying it back from you at a fraction of that price. After buy backs, they will sell that book to another student at your school. If they sell a book to you for 100 dollars and then buy it back for 10, they keep 90 percent of the books original value. The next semester, they sell that very same book for 80, and then buy it back from the next student for 5 or 6 dollars, keeping the rest. That one book has sold for 180 dollars, netting the textbook store about 170 dollars or so. They make money off of your books that you hardly even use.

Cheap College Books Available Online Sell or Buy

That is, until the advent of the internet. You can find cheap college textbooks online at several different stores. But do yourself a favor and take a look at eskoob.com when you are looking for your textbooks for next semester. You want the best prices and best values for your money, and at online book stores  you can find just that. You can search databases of books for the titles and editions you need, and the best part is that you will help out a fellow student to keep from getting a raw deal from the textbook store and find good cheap college books!

Do yourself a favor and stop buying from a textbook store that gouges you with its prices. Online textbook shopping is the smart thing to do, and it will save you money. The choice is yours.

Fast Cash Articles

Hey all,

I just ran across a few cool articles in my never ending search to find you the best ways to get fast cash that I though I would share with you.  The first article is called Make Money Fast and it goes through various ways to make money on the street.  Have you ever thought about being a street performer to put some cash in your pocket today?  I hadn’t, but it really made me think that all those years I spent learning the guitar could be put to some good use!  The article also goes into making money with recycling and starting an online business.  Both of these are more great ways to get some fast cash.

The second article I want to share with you is called Quick Ways To Make Money.  This article is similar to the pawn shop article here, but goes into much more detail about how to learn to part with your stuff and set up a garage sale.  The key to a good garage sale is promotion, and the method outlined in the article is a way I never thought of (of course I’m not giving it away, read the article to find out!).

All in all, I think these methods are two more great ways to get fast cash when you need it.  As this site grows there will be many more of these to come, so stay tuned!

Cash For Books

Getting cash for books is an easy way to put a lot of money into your pocket.  Books have a pretty high resale value, so there is quite a bit of money to be made.  It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting on a monster collection of mystery novels, a few textbooks, or your grandma’s old cookbooks, there is someone out there looking to pay top dollar for them.  This post will take a look at some of your options for selling them and how to get the most money you can.

If you take a look at a successful used bookstore they have tens of thousands of books on the shelves on every topic imaginable.  How did they get all of those books?  From people like you who are looking to part with them for fast cash.  There is a store by me in Santa Rosa, CA called Treehorn books that has well over 100,000 books on its shelves, and the shelves run from the floor all the way to the ceiling.  They’re constantly buying books and paying good money for them.

Cash For Textbooks

Textbooks pay more cash than any other type of book.  Why is that?  Because they cost more than every other book!  Most colleges will have a couple of bookstores that are right around the campus that specialize in buying and selling textbooks.  Usually, people use that money toward the next round of books, but when pressed for cash they can put some serious money in your pocket.  Selling textbooks for cash is fast and easy at these stores.

Selling Books For Cash Online

My favorite way to get cash for books is online.  Amazon.com allows you to set up a seller account that permits you to add your books to the listings when someone searches for that title.  If you set a low price on the book, and it’s fairly popular, you’re bound to sell the book within a few days.  Amazon will charge a small fee, but that’s the price for only having to go to the post office to ship the book.  They already have pictures and information on each book, so it’s super easy.  Another reason why this works so well is that more people go to Amazon for books than anywhere else in the world, so there’s a customer out there waiting to pay you cash for your books.

Get Cash For Your Books Locally

Like I said above, used bookstores are always looking for new stuff and pay cash for books.  I recommend that you search out a few of them in your area, since one store probably isn’t going to buy all of your books.  What they buy depends on their inventory and if you’re selling something that they already have multiple copies of they probably won’t buy it from you.

From my experience, bookstores will usually pay around 25% cash of what they’re going to sell the book for.  This means that if you have a lot of books to sell, you can walk away with a few hundred bucks!  Talk about fast cash!

Some bookstores, like Bookmans in Arizona, buy much more than books.  They also pay cash for video games, music, movies, magazines, and board games.  There’s a good chance that there is a place like this in your neighborhood, you just have to find it!
