Rather than dive into a full blown essay on the different ways  to get cash fast, I’ll use this as a resource to other parts of the site that cover each topic in more detail.  This way you can bounce around as needed very quickly.

Different Types Of Fast Cash Loans

The amount of money you need and your job situation will determine which route you take here.

If you have a steady job, a checking account, and don’t need more than a thousand bucks, check out our Ultimate Guide To Payday Loans.  There you will find everything from how to save money on the loan to how to prevent getting ripped off.

Should you meet those same requirements above and need more cash, check out our page on installment loans.  These are very similar to payday loans, except you’re able to borrow more cash and have a longer time to pay it back.

For those that have a paid off car and are willing to use it as the loan’s collateral, check out the post on title loans.  These are secured loans, and if you have a nice ride you might be able to get a very large loan.  The biggest risk is that if you don’t pay it back the lender is going to repossess your car.

We usually don’t recommend borrowing from a family member unless you absolutely have to.  I would rather wreck my credit score than my relationship with someone who is close to me!

What About Earning Money?

Being broke allows you to take a hard look at your finances.  Nobody cares about it when things are going good, so take some time now and figure out where things are going wrong.  The obvious problem is that more money is going out than is coming in.  This means you can make more, spend less, or (preferably) both.

I could try and list some ways to save money, but this article from the site Dumb Little Man has done it way better than I ever could.

Making more money can happen in a lot of ways.  The link a few paragraphs above about making fast cash has some good ideas in it.  If you don’t want to take the time to do that kind of stuff maybe get a second job or work OT at your current gig?  Making money is all about being resourceful, and there are a million ways to do it.

The most important thing you can do to get your debt in control is to reduce how much you spend monthly. From now on, keep a record of every single expenditure you make. Write down you spend money on, even the littlest things. Chances are, you will be very much surprised at just how much you spend on unnecessary things. You should not confuse wants with needs. Spend money only on your needs so you out every single penny towards the repayment of your debt. Again, the sooner you are free from debt, the sooner you can start a savings account and an emergency fund.

After the end of the month, you need to divide your expenditures so that you can determine which ones were unnecessary spending. Most people spend a substantial amount of money on luxuries and things which they do not really need. Remember that small purchases like sodas can easily translate to hundreds of dollars each month if you do not control them. Again, stop spending money on things which you do not need. Put every single penny you save towards repaying your debt. If you do not feel like you are getting enough money, you can also get a part time job or work extra hours at your present job.

The first thing that I do is look around my house to see if there is anything I can quickly sell. My favorite spot to do this is on Craigslist, but the pawn shop might be a better choice if you’re seriously pressed for time. It doesn’t take a lot of work to quickly sell off any extra tools, bikes, stereos, or whatever you have laying around your house. Craigslist will pay the best and require the most work, but the pawn shop is a much faster choice.

If I have a few days to work with before I need the money I’ll head to the job section called [ETC] on Craigslist. This is where you find all of the odd jobs that people do for cash. Things like surveys, medical tests, handing out fliers, and all sorts of weird stuff can be found here. It’s important that you work out the payment details before accepting a job to make sure that it suits your needs.

The last thing I do when I need to get money now is to get a loan. Payday loans are my normal choice here because I do have a job, and after following the two steps above I don’t really need to borrow that much to cover my needs. The best way to reduce the price of payday loans is to borrow as little as you possibly can, so following the steps in order is a good idea.

Being broke is a pain in the ass, but when you take these steps in order you can get out of just about any jam you find yourself in!

A basement full of junk can actually mean a gold mine when you are in need. You would be surprised at how much some old things can be worth and how much your garbage can cash in. After all, they say one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure. This is very true so whenever you are in need for a couple of hundred bucks then it’s time to clean out the basement and try your luck at getting fast cash today. So before you throw away your old sneakers why not just wash and store them for a time of need even if you can get $5 for them, it adds up.

Fast Cash Loans

Easy payday loans are everywhere.  To get approved all you really need is a job, a pulse, and a bank account.  Rather than bore you with the details of how to get a loan like this, I want to go over some situations where it may be hard to get approved for one reason or another.

First off, if you’re credit score sucks, don’t worry.  The bad credit payday loan is the norm.  If they checked everyone’s credit, loan processing would take forever, and no one would get approved.  So don’t let your credit score prevent you from applying for a loan.

If you have outstanding payday loans, you have a pretty big problem on your hands.  However, there are still a couple of no Teletrack payday loans out there, but they are becoming pretty rare.  Teletrack also checks if you recently had a bankruptcy and how often you overdraft your bank account.  When you find a company that does this, expect to pay a bit more for the loan.

What about if you are only paid once a month?  30 day payday loans are available from Think Cash, but they have pretty strict lending requirements and don’t lend in every state.  The best thing to do in this situation is to call around to your local lenders and see if they offer similar programs.  Automobile title loans might also be a good option here because they give you months to pay the loan back, but some do require that you make biweekly payments.

No job?  Here’s where things get tough.  Loans for unemployed are almost impossible to find.  The only way that a lender would consider working with you is if you are on some sort of benefits (unemployment, SSI, etc.), and even then it’s pretty rare.  You’re going to be better off doing the things discussed in the second half of this post that don’t involve borrowing money.

What if you have a great credit score?  Go to your bank or local credit union and see if they offer fast personal loans.  These are similar to a payday loan, but give you much better rates.  With the new banking regulations that are coming, the ones that are trying to get rid of payday loans, banks are starting to offer loans like this to draw in those that can’t borrow money anywhere else.

Fast Cash Without A Loan

There are a ton of ways to get same day cash without having to borrow money.  What you do depends on how much time you have available, what you’re good at, and how much money you need.  When I need money now, I use the things discussed below before considering a loan.  This will reduce the amount that I need to borrow, which costs me a lot less in the long run.

If you have a credit card, you may be able to get money from that.  A credit card cash advance is another expensive way to get the money you need, but it can be a big help in a pinch.  To get an advance this way, you’re going to have to call the customer service number on the back of your credit card and talk to the rep to get the PIN number for your card.  Then you just go to an ATM and withdraw cash.  These are pretty expensive, but can be helpful.

Odd jobs are another great way to make money fast and easy.  When I do this, I hit up my family members and friends to see if there is anything that I can do for them.  Generally, I’ll land a few babysitting gigs and will walk away with quite a bit of cash.  You can do whatever it is that you’re good at, but your family will be very appreciative since you’re not hitting them up to borrow money, instead you’re earning it.

Selling off your extra stuff is pretty straightforward.  If you must have cash today, go to the pawn shop.  If you have a little bit more time, sell it on Craigslist, you’ll get a lot more money for it there.

Recycling scrap metal, cans, bottles, and plastic is another way to get fast cash today.  It will usually take a little bit of help and a truck, but you can make quite a bit this way.  Non ferrous metal (stuff that magnets don’t stick to) is going to get you the most money at scrap metal recyclers.

As you can see, there are tons of ways to make a quick buck.  I hope that something here works for you, or at the very least helped you figure out something that does.  Being broke sucks, but when you have a clear way to make money, the stress is gone and you can think clearly again!

Traditional same day payday loans require that you have a job to get approved.  Without a paycheck you don’t stand much of a chance to pay the loan back.  The risk is simply too high for the lender to give you money.  However, some lenders don’t have a problem giving you money if you have regular benefits coming your way.  This might be unemployment, SSI, disability, or whatever.  To get a loan like this, you’re probably best off finding lenders that are in your area and calling them to see if they’re willing to work with you.  That’s not to say that you can’t get a payday advance online with unemployment benefits,  but you’ll probably end up wasting a bunch of time filling out applications that are just going to be declined.  Being able to call the lender directly will let you figure out immediately if they are going to be able to help you out.

Fast Cash With No Job And Not Borrowing Money

There are an infinite number of ways to make money fast and easy.  People are willing to part with their money for all sorts of reasons, it’s just a matter of figuring out what you’re able to do.

The most obvious way to do this is to sell off some of your stuff.  If you need money right now, go to the pawn shop for this.  If they are willing to buy what you’re selling, you’re going to walk out of there with cash in hand.  If you have more time, sell your stuff on Craigslist.  You’re going to get a lot more money for your stuff by selling it directly than you will at the pawn shop, but it takes more time and work.

Another way to use Craigslist to your advantage is to check out their [ETC] job section.  Here you’ll find all sorts of off the wall jobs, and many of them will pay you cash.  Have you ever wanted to participate in a medical study?  Market research? Register voters? Well, here’s your chance!  Obviously, use common sense when trying to find some fast cash work here, but it’s definitely possible to earn a good amount of money with a day’s worth of work.

Just because you don’t have a job doesn’t mean that you have to suffer from being completely broke.  There are a lot of options out there for you get fast cash, it’s just a matter of figuring out which one you should choose.  Try the easy payday loan option first, and if that doesn’t pan out, turn to the other options we talked about above.

Automobile title loans are a bit harder to get since their requirements are so specific.  They require that you have a car that has been completely paid off, as well as the title to it.  The amount that you can borrow depends on the value of your car, and most lenders will go as high as 50% of that amount.  You do get the advantage of being able to pay back this large loan over several months, and payments are usually made biweekly.  If you’re considering a title loan as your best option, read this article from CNN.  The article will tell you that it’s a bad idea to get a title loan, but it’s written by someone who has never been in the situation to need one!  Instead, take away from that article tips on how to save money, especially the part about making “interest only” payments.

These are the two most common loans with no credit check, and are the same loans that everyone goes to when they need fast cash now.  They’re going to be expensive, and you may have a tough time getting the loan repaid, but they’re the only reliable source of money when you’re broke and have bad credit.  Whatever you do, don’t start relying on these loans as a source of money.  You already have bad credit, being in debt to a payday loan company is going to make your life miserable!

The key here is patience.  I know that you need money fast, but when you don’t have a bank account you’re going to have a hard time finding lenders that are willing to work with you.  This is because they don’t have a way to get repaid.  Looking at it from a lender’s perspective, it makes perfect sense.  Would you lend money to someone that you don’t have an easy way to get your money back?  Probably not.  So stick with it, and you’re going to find someone that’s willing to work with you, or an alternative means to get cash.

No Teletrack payday loans are out there, but they’re becoming more rare.  Teletrack is the company that verifies all of the information that you put onto your loan application.  I’m definitely not telling you to lie on your application if they’re not checking, but if the lender isn’t verifying your info, odds are they don’t really care about your bank account.  You will probably have to pay this loan back with a money order or a cashier’s check.

Some lenders will go as far as to work with Moneygram or Western Union.  These are extremely rare, but there are lenders that will offer them as a temporary special.  I wouldn’t get your hopes up that you’re going to find one of these, but it’s worth taking the time to check out a few lenders to see if they have them available for you.

Automobile title loans may be another option, but you’re going to have to call around to a lot of local lenders to find one that will work with you.  Most title lenders are now automatically withdrawing their biweekly payments from the borrower’s checking account, but some may still allow you to pay them directly.  Since these are secured loans, they don’t really care so much about your current financial situation, so you may be able to sweet talk them into working with you.

Another option is to work for cash.  There are a ton of different ways to do this, but most of the time you’ll start your search on Craigslists.  In the job box they have a section called [ETC] that will have all of the weird ways for you to earn money today.  Keep an open mind when searching through those job listings, some of them are pretty bizarre, but that may be because I’m looking through the Bay Area ones!

When I need money now, I usually just ask my close friends if they have anything that I can do for them to earn some money.  Normally, I’ll babysit my friend’s kids so that they don’t have to go to daycare, and she pays me for it.  What you do will probably be whatever you’re good at.  Should you be good with a lawnmower, offer to mow your grandma’s lawn.  Or do whatever is available to you.  They will be much more willing to help you out than if you would have just approached them to borrow money!

There are tons of different ways to get fast cash with no bank account.  Try the loan option first to see what you can dig up, and if you aren’t able to find an online lender that wants to work with you, try going to your local payday loan store.  Should you not be able to find a way to borrow the money, make some phone calls and earn the money!

Payday loans online are now the most common way to do it.  A few years ago you would have had to fax a bunch of paperwork to the lender for them to verify all of your info, but not anymore.  Huge increases in internet security have enabled payday loan lenders to verify everything through a third party company called Teletrack, which means that you don’t have to fax anything to them.

If you’ve never applied for a payday loan before there isn’t anything to worry about, it’s actually very easy.  You’re going to need a few paycheck stubs, your ID, SSN, your checkbook, and a few references who know that you’re putting them down.  The application will only take you a few minutes, and you’ll know whether or not you were approved in as fast as an hour.

You can also find a job to earn money today.  Spending a few minutes on the Etc. section of your area’s Craigslist page will turn up hundreds of odd jobs that you can do to earn money fast.  Obviously, you’ll have to leave your computer to do most of these jobs, but it’s a fairly easy way to earn some extra money fast.

Selling stuff online is also a very easy way to make money quickly.  You’re going to need some stuff to sell, but I’m sure that a quick look around your home will turn up some things of value.  Craigslist is again the tool of choice for this.  In most areas it’s free to sell stuff, so post what you have on there.  Be sure to take good pictures, and it also helps to list things separately instead of lumped together in one.  This helps your customers find what you’re selling a little bit easier.

As you can see, there are quite a few ways to get fast cash from home.  Use any, or all, of the ideas discussed above to solve your cash problem without getting up!

Any fast cash loan isn’t going to give a damn about your credit score.  The most common type of these are payday loans, and if they were to check credit scores and only lend to people with good credit they wouldn’t have many customers!  In order to get one of these loans you’re going to need a job that you’ve been at for over six months, make over a thousand bucks a month after taxes, and have a checking account.  There are some lenders out there that will offer money to people who don’t meet those criteria, but they are rare.

You can find lenders for these online or locally.  There really isn’t much difference between the two, except searching for payday loans online will yield a lot more companies for you to find the best rates with.  Going locally, you’re stuck with only the ones in your area.

Title loans are another (much riskier) option.  With this type of loan you are using your car as collateral, which means that if you don’t pay it back the repo man shows up and takes your ride!  Generally you can get more money with this type of loan, and longer terms, but the risk is obviously higher.  To get approved for a loan like this you need a car that’s paid in full, its title, and an extra key.  Most lenders will let you keep driving your car while your loan is out, but not all of them.  Promise me that if you choose this loan you pay it back!  Title loan lenders don’t screw around and will take your car from you!

There is also the option of selling some of your stuff or working for cash, but I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that your credit score is irrelevant to those!
