Is Buy Now Pay Later Financing Worth It

If you’re a bit low on cash you may have considered a lot of different options from charging up your credit cards, asking family members for some extra cash but have you ever considered buy now pay later financing?

In this post I’m going to discuss the up and down side to this option and hopefully by the end of this article you will have a clear idea which way will be better for you.

The Up Side

First off, one of the great benefits is that this option lets you pay a small payment in order to get the things you need to move forward in your life like, furniture, home appliances, to odd things like wedding accessories.

This also does one other thing to benefit you.  If your looking for a way to furnish your home or apartment and build your credit this is an excellent option as well.  Today building up credit is such a hard thing to do especially when getting started so why not do this in a way so it kills two birds with one stone.

The Down Side

As good as things can be their are some down sides to this option, first off you need to consider interest rates they may be charging you.  In most cases it will be a variable rate that will fluctuate based on your credit standing.  It’s also a good idea to know how much interest you will be paying altogether this way you know how much extra you will be paying versus just buying the product outright.

Finally, you also need to consider what would happen if you started to miss payments or even worse bought a whole bunch of stuff and now you may not be able to make all the payments.  This could throw up a bunch of problems for you and even ruin your credit if it gets really bad.

What’s Your Choice

In the end it’s your choice and you need to know if you can handle this.  If you can’t handle your money very well this option may not be for you but if your good with making payments and keeping your word this may be for you.
