Where To Find Easy Money Jobs

If you’re looking for fast cash, easy money jobs are one of the best ways to go.  An easy money job isn’t always a good job, but it will put money in your pocket fast with minimal work behind it.  There are lots more of these employment opportunities than you probably think there are, it’s just a matter of tracking them down so you can get paid.

In a previous post, Fast Cash Jobs, we went over things that you can do on your own to get paid, along with some jobs that pay cash.  The purpose of this post is to show you where you can find a job that requires minimal effort and pays decent.  There are thousands of these jobs so I can’t cover every option, but you should be able to get a good enough idea of where to start.

Look In The Newspaper

Newspapers may be going the way of the 8-track, but they’re still a valuable resource for finding an easy money job.  Find a newspaper (go to Starbucks if you can’t afford one) and flip back to the classified section.  In all of that 7 point font you should find an entire section dedicated to jobs.  Now I’m sure that you’ve seen this section before, but this time look a little bit closer and find the part of it that’s labeled “miscellaneous” or “odd jobs.”  In this section you’re going to find tons of random things you can do to get paid.  Everything from medical studies to help cleaning out a grandma’s garage can be found here.  The key to getting the good ones is to start early in the morning when the newspaper is still fresh.  You’re not the only one out there looking for these gigs, so you’ve got to be the early bird getting the worm!

Look Online

Maybe it’s because I live in the Bay Area, but there are some off the wall jobs on Craigslist.  I’m sure that you’ve been on that website before, but have you ever looked in the “ETC” section of the job postings?  You can be an egg donor, a movie extra, participate in a pain study, a taste tester, a basketball coach, just to name a few.  Even if you don’t find a a fast cash job out of your search, you’re bound to at least get a few laughs from the broad range of jobs that are out there.  I strongly recommend checking it out and subscribing to the RSS feed so that you can have new jobs delivered straight to you as soon as they appear.

Look In Your City

I know some of you may be above doing this, but day laborers make a good clip for doing random jobs.  There’s a spot in just about every city where they hang during the morning and people drive by looking for an extra hand for the day.  You never know what you’re going to end up doing that day, just make sure that you can get a ride back to where you were picked up in the first place!  The work won’t always be easy, but it’s always cash.

There are tons of easy money jobs out there, but you have to go find them!  Easier ways to get money are around, but are rarely as reliable as actually working for it.

Fast Cash Jobs

I’ve gotten a really good response from the little bit that I’ve written on fast cash jobs in the past, so I figure that it’s time to elaborate a bit to show you guys what the options are like out there.  The trick if you want to earn fast cash is to harness the things that you’re already good at to make some money.  I obviously don’t know what you’re good at, so I can only offer up some ideas, but this should at least get the brain juices flowing.

You can break fast cash jobs into three categories; skills, services, and labor.  We’ll take a look at each of these so that you can figure out which you have to offer and how to make money from them.

I’m also not advocating that everyone find jobs that pay under the table, but when you need instant cash you have to do what it takes to get it (without breaking the law!).  Another really good thing about doing this is that you may find that you can make some decent coin with what you have to offer, and in turn make a real business out of it.  I don’t really think that fits the scope of this website, but keep that in the back of your mind.

Fast Money Jobs With Your Skills

Everyone is good at something, you just have to figure out what it is that you can do to get you paid.  These skills are usually in building something or with crafts.  If you can weave an awesome basket there is probably someone out there that will pay good money for it.  Think of this like a freelance job, you have a skill that someone would pay good money for and you need to find your customer base for it.  Some of the more common skills based fast cash jobs are:

• Programming/coding
• Crafts
• Writing for money
• Website design
• Virtual assistant
• Cooking
• Seasonal help

There are certainly thousands of more options than that, but you have to figure out which you can do.

Fast Cash Jobs With Your Services

You can define “services” however you like (I’m not judging!), but for the sake of this article I’ll define it as doing something for someone else because they don’t want to and have the money to pay you for it.  These overlap with the skills category a bit, but are different in the fact that most people could do it if they wish to, no special skills required.  The most common services are:

• Mowing lawns/landscaping
• Babysitting
• Hanging flyers
• Dog walking
• Cleaning houses
• Odd jobs around the home
• Pool cleaning

Again, this is just for the sake of sparking your brain.  Figure out what kind of services you can offer and go get paid to do them!

Real Fast Cash Jobs

I’m calling this one “real” only because you have to get up and go to a job to do it.  The labor category is a bit stricter and well defined than the others, and if you like it you may actually be able to turn it into a career.  The most common types of the best cash jobs are:

• Bartending
• Server/waiter
• Stripper
• Delivery driver
• Valet attendant
• Some landscape/farm jobs
• Parking cars

You can also find lots of jobs like this hanging out where the “day-laborers” hang out in your town.  A good friend of mine does this on his days off from his normal job and makes an extra thousand bucks a month doing some of the best easy jobs around!

There is a lot of money out there that’s waiting to end up in your pocket.  Spend a few minutes racking your brain to figure out what it is that you can do to get it!

Find Fast Cash Work

Fast cash work is easy to find, when you know where to look.  I know that oversimplified it and you wouldn’t be reading this if it was really that easy, but it’s true, I swear!  There are three tactics to finding a job that’s going to put you to work and pay you today.  It starts where you already are, in front of the computer, then moves to the newspaper, and then it moves into your town.  Follow these three strategies and you’ll be working in no time at all!

Fast Cash Work Online

My favorite way to make a few bucks fast is on Craigslist.  No, I’m not going to tell you to sell your couch, the job section on that site is phenomenal.  Since it is either free or minimal cost to post a job, there are tons of different options there.  While navigating the site, click on your city to bring up the local stuff, then find the link that says ETC with all of the jobs.  This is where you’ll find the good stuff.  Want to participate in a market study?  They have it.  Taste testing?  You bet.  Be an egg donor?  Yeah, that too.  If it’s an odd job, you can probably find it there.

Fast Cash Work In The Newspaper

I’m sure that you’ve seen the classified section of your local newspaper.  This time take a closer look at it to find the uncategorized section of jobs that will have even stranger fast cash jobs than Craigslist does.  This is generally where you’ll find medical studies, mock juries, and all sorts of other jobs that will pay you fast.

Fast Cash Work In Your Town

I’ll probably catch some shit for putting this option out there, since it’s mildly illegal, but if you can figure out where the day laborers hang out in your area you can get a good cash job today.  You’ll probably have to do manual labor (I’m sure there isn’t a accountant day laborer area in your neighborhood) but it will usually pay well.  You’re in an even better situation if you’re bilingual.  While I’m not a supporter of under the table jobs, when you need money to keep your life moving forward I think this is fair game.
